Guaranteed placement for approved candidates — and every condition, written out in plain language.
Last updated 24 September 2026
For candidates formally accepted into the TNA Guaranteed Placement Track, TNA commits to providing the placement service described in these Guarantee Terms and in the written Guarantee Agreement each approved candidate receives. The guarantee is a commitment about TNA’s placement service for approved candidates. It is not a promise of any particular employer, city, salary, start date or immigration outcome.
The guarantee applies only after TNA formally approves you for the Guaranteed Placement Track, in writing. Submitting an application, creating a TNA profile or holding a TNA USA Career Membership does not by itself place you on the track or create a guarantee.
The specific commitment — including the placement period and what TNA will do if a placement is not achieved within it — is set out in your written Guarantee Agreement. Where anything on this page differs from your signed agreement, the signed agreement applies.
You must meet the eligibility criteria TNA confirms at approval, including your education, playing level and professional background, and you must remain eligible throughout the process. TNA accepts candidates only when:
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid U.S. work authorization, including your OPT, and for keeping TNA informed of your OPT status, start date and end date. The guarantee does not apply to any period in which you are not authorized to work, and it ends if your work authorization ends or lapses.
OPT employment generally must be directly related to your major area of study. TNA only proposes roles that can appropriately relate to your field of study; you must confirm your individual eligibility for a specific role with your Designated School Official before accepting it.
You must attend the interviews TNA arranges, on time and prepared. Missing an interview without good reason, or declining to interview for suitable roles that meet the agreed criteria, may end the guarantee.
You must respond to TNA and to employers promptly, within the response times set out in your Guarantee Agreement, and keep your profile, CV and availability up to date.
Your salary expectations must stay within the realistic range TNA agrees with you at approval. Declining offers that fall within that agreed range may end the guarantee.
The guarantee depends on the location flexibility you agree at approval. TNA does not guarantee a specific city or state. Narrowing your locations after approval may change or end the guarantee.
Employers may require background checks, safeguarding checks, references and verification of your qualifications and playing record. You must provide what is requested and it must be accurate. Inaccurate information ends the guarantee.
You must be available to start within the window agreed at approval, consistent with your OPT dates.
Every employer makes its own hiring decision and sets its own requirements, compensation and policies, including any decision about sponsorship. TNA does not control an employer’s decisions.
TNA does not offer or advertise guaranteed OPT, guaranteed visas, guaranteed H-1B, guaranteed sponsorship or guaranteed permanent residency. Placement locations, employers, compensation and start dates vary. TNA provides recruitment and career services and does not provide legal or immigration advice.
The TNA USA Career Membership (€350 for 12 months) is an optional career-development and opportunity-access product. It is not a payment for guaranteed employment, it is not required to apply for the Guaranteed Placement Track, and holding it does not by itself place you on the track.
You must remain eligible throughout the process. If your circumstances change — your OPT dates, work authorization, location, availability or expectations — tell TNA straight away so we can review your place on the track with you.
OPT compliance. OPT employment must comply with applicable U.S. immigration requirements and generally must be directly related to the student’s major area of study. TNA provides recruitment and career services and does not provide legal or immigration advice. Candidates should confirm individual eligibility with their Designated School Official and, where appropriate, qualified immigration counsel.
